The washing machine tray is one of the most important parts responsible for the quality of washing. However, over time, it can become coated with residues of powder, rinse aid, and dirt.
This not only worsens the machine's performance, but can also cause unpleasant odors and mold. How can you get rid of this problem?
There are several ways to clean the washing machine tray, but one of the easiest and fastest is to use vinegar and baking soda. To do this, you will need:
• vinegar (9% or 6%);
• soda;
• water;
• brush or sponge;
• rag.
Follow these steps.
Remove the tray from the machine and rinse it under warm water.
Mix equal parts vinegar and baking soda in a small container. You should get foam.
Apply foam to the inside of the tray and leave for 15-20 minutes.
Scrub the tray with a brush or sponge, paying attention to corners and crevices.
Rinse the tray under clean water and dry it with a cloth.
Place the tray back into the machine and run an empty wash cycle with vinegar added to the detergent compartment.
Repeat this procedure once a month and your litter box will be clean and fresh.
