From time to time, articles appear on the Internet in which authors speculate on the topic of re-boiling water for coffee or tea.

It is a common belief that boiling water increases the concentration of chemicals.

But scientists respond that this is just a myth, invented on the basis of speculation and opinion.

Let's look into this issue in a little more detail.

Is it possible to boil water again?

Let's say you put one liter of water in a kettle and boiled it once. That water will indeed contain a substance called fluoride.

You remove 200 ml of boiling water to make tea. But if you boil the same water a second time, will the amount of fluoride change? Of course not.

Even if we assume that there is fluoride in such water, its concentration can be called negligible.

We have previously discussed the issue of fluoride and its content in tea.
