Ceramic knives are increasingly seen in the kitchen. Several factors contributed to the popularity of the products.
Firstly, such devices are not capable of absorbing and, accordingly, releasing odors.
Secondly, after cutting food with a ceramic knife, you can be sure that your food has retained all the vitamins and minerals it contains.
Thirdly, blades made from ceramics will stay sharp for a long time (if you use them correctly).
Fourthly, ceramic knives have the quality of being resistant to corrosion and will never rust.
We could go on and on, but instead we'll tell you what to look for when purchasing such products.
1. Check that the blade is welded and not glued to the handle.
2. A quality product has a pure white or pure black color. If you notice gray-yellow stains, it is better to refuse to buy it at all.
3. Be sure to check that the blade is capable of cutting (and not tearing) a sheet of paper - this is a test of the knife's sharpness.
