How to wash a vacuum cleaner: didn't you know?

Just because a vacuum cleaner was designed specifically for cleaning doesn't mean that the appliance itself doesn't need to be cleaned.

For example, a washing vacuum cleaner should be put in order every time you clean the house.

Maintenance involves pouring out any remaining water after cleaning, rinsing the compartment (adding a disinfectant wouldn't hurt), then wiping it down or leaving it to dry.

We'll share a useful tip: to remove absolutely all the dirt, use a dish brush, which has a convenient long handle and a curved head with bristles.

Not only the container needs cleaning, but also the filters - foam filters can be rinsed with liquid soap, then left to dry, and housewives advise cleaning fine filters under running water (unlike the previous ones, not every time, but at least every third time).

But that's not all: if you are a true fan of cleanliness, don't ignore the vacuum cleaner's nozzles and tubes.

If they do not have electronic parts, these "spare parts" can be soaked in hot soapy water once a month, then washed with a long-handled brush and a sponge.

And, of course, don’t forget to wipe the surface of the vacuum cleaner from accumulated dust using a microfiber cloth.
