An umbrella, like any other thing that we use regularly, needs to be cleaned.
Fortunately, the procedure for washing this accessory is not difficult. However, you will have to use your hands, not a washing machine, in this process.
So, in order to refresh the product, you need to fill the basin with 5-7 liters of warm water, the temperature of which fluctuates between 30-40 degrees.
Add here 2 tablespoons of washing powder, which, if desired, can be replaced with soap or shampoo.
The half-open umbrella is placed in the resulting solution for 15 minutes and wiped with a soft cloth, and then placed under a shower of clean water.
The most convenient way to do this is to leave an open umbrella in the bathroom and wash it on both sides with rain.
All that remains is to shake off the water droplets from the half-open umbrella and hang it up to dry.
If you need to get rid of stains caused by impurities in the water, use a solution of 150 ml of water and 1 spoon of ammonia, which must be applied to a cotton pad and wipe the stained areas with it.
In turn, rust left by knitting needles on the fabric is removed using lemon juice, which you need to soak the fabric with and then direct a stream of steam from an iron or steam cleaner onto the dirty area.
If grease gets on the surface of the umbrella, remove it using dishwashing liquid.
