Damage to floor tiles occurs much more often than to wall tiles.

And this is quite understandable: people walk on the floor. In addition, things are often dropped on this surface.

Therefore, the appearance of chips on floor tiles is a common occurrence.

What to do if one of the tiles is damaged? It would seem that there is only one way out - replacing the plate.

However, this procedure is quite complicated. And it is not a fact that a person will be able to find a spare tile.

Therefore, you may want to use some other method to remove chips.

Fortunately, the problem can really be solved without complicated repair work. And a regular cotton swab will come to the rescue.

How to restore your floor tiles to their original appearance

You need to take a package of swabs and try to find nail polish that matches the color of the damaged tile.

Dip a cotton swab into a bottle of cosmetic product and begin to paint over the chipped area.

It is possible that after the varnish has dried, the procedure will have to be repeated: usually one layer is not enough.

If the color of the cosmetic product was chosen correctly, the tile will start to look like new: scratches and cracks will no longer be noticeable.
