Among the tricks and tips that housewives use every day to keep their homes clean, you can also find some rather unusual “tricks”.
Take, for example, the advice to wash mirrors using shampoo.
It would seem, why create a lot of foam on reflective surfaces and then bother with washing it off, if it is enough to spray a couple of “sprays” of special household chemicals on the mirror and it will become cleaner than ever?
However, those same chemical industry products are not able to rid you of such a problem as fogged mirrors, but shampoo can easily cope with the task.
So, first, wash the mirror in the usual way and don’t forget to dry it thoroughly.
After this, apply a little shampoo to a soft cloth and treat the entire surface with it.
Using a clean cloth, rub the shampoo over the reflective surface until there are no streaks left.
Done: the mirror surface is protected from fogging by a thin, invisible layer of shampoo, which will successfully perform its functions for several weeks.
