Kitchen textiles not only get dirty quickly due to the specifics of use, but also become saturated with all sorts of odors.
As a result, the towels and rags emit a very unpleasant smell.
Simply throwing the textiles in the washing machine is unlikely to help solve the problem. The fact is that such aromas are usually very persistent.
How to get rid of unpleasant odors from kitchen textiles
Microwave oven
If the unpleasant smell has just started to appear, you can get rid of it in just a couple of minutes. Not all housewives know about this simple but extremely effective method.
You will need to proceed as follows.
Take the necessary textiles and hide them in a bag. In the microwave oven, select the heating mode and set the timer for 120 seconds.
There will be no trace of the unpleasant smell.
Vinegar
This method will work great even if the unpleasant smell has become strong and persistent. You need to pour a glass of vinegar into a ten-liter basin of water and put kitchen textiles in it for 60 minutes.
After the rag and towel, it is worth wringing them out and sending them to the wash.
