A thermos is a very convenient container for storing and preparing drinks, so many people are used to using it.
Sometimes the thermos initially smells not very pleasant because of the plastic.
Sometimes we simply forget to wash the dishes in a timely manner, which results in an unpleasant smell and even mold.
How can you deal with the problem?
Laundry soap
You will need to pour hot water into the thermos and add some shavings of laundry soap. Close the container, wait for about five minutes and shake vigorously several times.
It is best to leave the solution overnight. In the morning, drain the liquid and rinse the dishes with clean water.
Salt
This method will help eliminate the unpleasant smell and the activity of harmful microorganisms, if any. You will need to pour four spoons of salt and also leave overnight.
In the morning there will be no trace of the unpleasant smell.
