Many smartphone users are accustomed to placing the device on a table or other surface with the display facing up.
This action is quite justified, since the owner has the opportunity to see notifications and calls, even if the smartphone is set to silent mode.
But some experts believe that this is wrong and it is better to place the phone with the screen facing down.
There are two main reasons why it is better to place the device with the camera facing up.
- Protects the rear camera from scratches. If you place the phone with the screen facing up, there is a small chance of damaging the camera if the surface contains abrasives.
- The second reason is that you can accidentally press the screen and do something you didn't intend to do. If you put the device with the camera facing up, the likelihood of pressing it is greatly reduced.
It is important to note the importance of taking into account the smartphone overheating factor – cooling occurs through the rear panel.
It turns out that if the phone is placed with the screen facing up, this reduces heat exchange.
