There are many effective folk remedies for washing windows. Ammonia, starch and glycerin are used.
But there is another little-known option for making a homemade window cleaner. It costs next to nothing, and it will be ready in two minutes.
This advice will be useful for those who are used to using folk remedies instead of household chemicals.
They say that windows sparkle with cleanliness after they are washed with iodine solution.
How to proceed
Iodine is convenient in this regard because it is available in every home or in every car first aid kit, which means you don’t have to go anywhere to get window cleaner.
1. Take a suitable container - a 1-liter spray bottle is best.
2. Take 1 liter of warm water and dissolve 5-10 drops of pharmacy iodine in it.
3. Shake to mix the iodine and begin washing.
You can use this same composition to clean any glass surface.
Despite the fact that the solution is the cheapest and easiest to prepare, it removes dirt perfectly, does not leave streaks, and the glass then squeaks from cleanliness and shines.
