Start by cleaning your sink with your regular dish soap that you use every day.
Rinse the sink with clean water and wipe dry with a towel so that not a drop of water remains on the surface of the sink.
Sprinkle flour evenly over the dry sink—about 2 tablespoons for a standard-sized sink—and then use a disposable towel or the rough side of a sponge to scrub the sink thoroughly.
