Some time after purchasing a new frying pan, housewives, to their chagrin, begin to notice that the dishes have started to burn.
Even a metal sponge, which is usually used in such situations, does not help to correct the situation.
However, decades ago, when it was not customary to “throw away” dishes, cooks came up with a way to revive any frying pan.
We hasten to share it with you.
So, to fix the problem, first wash the pan thoroughly with water and soda, then wait until it dries and put it on the stove.
Fill the pan with coarse salt so that it covers the entire bottom of the pan and heat it for 5-10 minutes, stirring continuously.
When the specified time has passed, remove the pan from the stove and get rid of the salt, deftly wielding a damp cloth.
Place the pan back on the fire, this time filling it with vegetable oil. Treat the bottom and sides thoroughly, and after 5 minutes, turn off the flame and set the pan aside until it cools completely.
All that remains is to rinse the frying pan under running water and you can use it to create more culinary masterpieces.
