Even if your culinary experience spans several decades, this does not mean that you are insured against minor troubles, for example, burnt food in a frying pan or saucepan.
The first thing you should do if your milk has boiled over or your cutlets have turned into coals is to open the window wide in the kitchen and in another room.
The resulting draft will rid you of the unpleasant smell, and this is the main thing at first.
Now you can start cleaning the “hero of the occasion” – that same burnt dish.
To do this, you will not need a hard sponge or cleaning powder, but the most ordinary rice.
Pour a handful of cereal into the container, then add a glass of water (for large diameter cookware, the volume of liquid can be increased) and place on the stove.
Wait until the grains become soft, then turn off the heat and set the pan aside to cool.
After some time, you will need to remove the rice with a spoon or spatula along with the layer of burnt residue and wash the frying pan or saucepan with a soft sponge and add detergent.
