You can transform your balcony beyond recognition without putting any extra strain on your family budget.
Spring is the perfect time to tidy up, declutter, and spring clean.
Not all city dwellers have the opportunity to spend the summer at their dacha. But you can breathe fresh air surrounded by greenery without leaving your apartment. To do this, it is enough to properly arrange the balcony.
Where to start
First of all, it is worth assessing the situation on the balcony. Perhaps you will have to sort out things that have been stored there for years. Some of them that are not used can be thrown away, given away or sold.
Once the balcony is cleared of unnecessary things, you can move on to arrangement.
Balcony arrangement
First, choose places for indoor plants. In spring, summer and early autumn, they grow better on the balcony. Flowers will add coziness to the balcony and a feeling of closeness to nature.
Next, the floor is finished. Plastic tiles are glued to the smooth concrete surface, which retains heat. Or the floor is covered with thick carpet or a fabric rug. If the balcony is roofless, then in case of rain it can be easily rolled up and brought into the apartment.
The final stage is choosing small and practical furniture. A wicker rocking chair or a homemade sofa made from construction pallets. Natural textiles in light tones will create a sense of coziness.
