Vinegar and soda
This combination is often found in plumbing maintenance recommendations, as it helps eliminate microbial activity, plaque, and odors.
Dissolve a large spoon of soda in 200 ml of vinegar. Afterwards, spread the prepared mixture over the areas with plaque and leave overnight.
In the morning you can wash off the product along with the dirt.
Soda
If you have just noticed the appearance of plaque, then the best way to deal with it is with regular soda. The drink is applied to the plumbing and cleaned immediately.
It is believed that drinking soda can even help prevent blockages.
Oxalic acid
This method will not work only if you have plastic pipes installed. In all other cases, you can safely use the method.
Apply acid to a rag and treat the plaque. Wait no more than an hour. Then simply rinse the product off with a stream of water.
