If you find that after a walk your socks have become stained to match the insole, you should not rush to the store to return the pair of shoes you like, although this is undoubtedly one of the possible scenarios.
However, there is a better option - to try to correct the situation so that the "trick" with dyeing socks does not happen again.
For this purpose, you can use specially created paint fixatives that will prevent the coloring agent from being released.
An alternative would be folk methods, for example, the notorious vinegar, since acid is essentially the same fixative.
To solve the problem with vinegar, you will need to apply a small amount of liquid to a rag and wipe the inside of the product with it, then dry the shoes.
Those who are bothered by the specific smell should not worry - it disappears after airing.
You can also choose another method that will allow you to preserve the original color of your socks.
For example, use alcohol (though it will not fix the paint, but will wash it off), treat the sneakers with hairspray or rub talc into the insole, which can be replaced with starch.
