The spout of the teapot darkens very quickly from the inside. This becomes immediately visible if the teapot is transparent.
Of course, the problem should not be ignored under any circumstances.
And it’s not just a matter of wanting to restore the product’s pleasant appearance, but also the need to ensure the safety of the tea lover.
The problem, however, is that the spout is very difficult to clean. This part of the kettle is very narrow, so a sponge will hardly fit in there.
However, experienced housewives have long found a way out of this situation.
What equipment will be needed?
A thing that is usually used to clean ears will come to the rescue. It is a cotton swab.
It fits easily into the spout of the teapot. By tilting the swab in different directions, a person can easily remove plaque from the inner walls of the narrow part of the dish.
Before using a cotton swab, it must be dipped in a soda solution. This liquid is made very simply: add 1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate to a glass of warm water.
This product will remove dirt without any problems. Then the spout should be washed with clean liquid.
After completing the procedure, a person can again safely brew tea not in a mug, but in a teapot.
