Not everyone has a full understanding of what blinds are, only those who have at least once tried to tidy them up and wash them.
It is easier to wash all the windows in the house than to wash the slats of horizontal blinds on just one transom. Is there any way to simplify this task?
First, let's figure out what to wash with.
This can be a solution of laundry soap (2-3 tablespoons per 3 liters of water is enough). Dishwashing liquid (1 tablespoon), washing gel (1 tablespoon per 10 liters of water) are also suitable, but it is easier to use glass cleaner.
So, let's imagine that the blinds are horizontal and the slats are made of plastic or metal.
By the way, no matter how clever you try, you can only wash the product properly by removing it from the window and soaking it in the bathroom, then wiping it with napkins.
But if there is no time, then we act according to the following scheme.
Unfold the blinds to their full length and close them tightly. Then wipe them with a damp cloth to collect dust.
In this case, you need to hold the plates – they wrinkle very easily, especially the metal ones.
After this, you need to apply a cleaning agent (whatever you like), but it is easier to work with a window cleaner.
Wait 15-20 minutes, then wash off the dirt with a damp cloth. Repeat the action on the back side of the slats.
To avoid repeating this work often, treat the blinds with an antistatic agent, and dust will not accumulate as intensively.
