If an ordinary kettle becomes covered with a reddish coating of soot and fat over time, it is scary to imagine what happens to frying pans and baking trays, which are used not for boiling water, but for frying, stewing and sautéing.
We'll tell you how to clean kitchen utensils without using heavy chemicals.
1. Baking soda
You need to fill the baking tray with boiling water, add a few spoons of baking soda and leave everything for an hour. Then you need to wipe the dirty areas with a soft cloth and rinse them finally with dishwashing liquid.
2. Soda and vinegar
Fill the pan with hot water and first add ½ cup of baking soda and the same amount of vinegar. Leave the utensils for 30 minutes, and then remove the carbon deposits with the hard side of a dish sponge.
Finally, we also wash everything with dishwashing liquid.
3. Foil
Baking trays and frying pans can be easily cleaned with regular foil, which is used instead of a brush. It can be used together with chemical cleaning agents.
However, this option should not be used to clean non-stick pans and silicone molds.
4. Hydrogen peroxide
First, you need to sprinkle the pan with the remains of burnt food with soda, and then pour hydrogen peroxide over it.
After two hours, you need to wash off the dirt with a sponge, then wash the utensils with detergent.
