Unfortunately, plain water is no help in this matter.
Instead, many car owners use various solvents or gasoline with kerosene to clean products, but we do not recommend resorting to this option.
Such products can often cause irreparable damage to rugs.
Instead, experienced drivers use special shampoos designed for car tires to clean rubber and polyurethane mats - this is the option used by taxi drivers.
If you have chosen a textile option for your car, do not forget that such mats should be dry cleaned at least once a month using a brush or vacuum cleaner.
But in advanced cases, regular car shampoo and, of course, thorough drying will come to the rescue.
