With the arrival of spring, many housewives want to “revive” their home a little by decorating it with cut flowers.

But the problem is that such flowers remain fresh for several days, and then begin to fade.

Therefore, housewives resort to various tricks to prolong the “life” of the bouquet.

For example, the simplest actions are daily water changes and stem trimming. Such measures help, but not much.

Experienced florists know a little trick that helps to preserve the beauty of flowers longer.

This is exactly why a coin is thrown into the vase. The authors of the trick claim that soon after this, compounds are formed in the water that prolong the "life" of the bouquet.

In addition, no plaque forms on the vase, which is then difficult to wash off.

However, there is an important condition. Copper must be present in the alloy. Of all the coins in Belarus, 1, 2 and 5 kopecks are best. Of the Russian coins, the ruble and five-ruble coins are suitable.
