Cooking food in the oven is a great way to preserve the beneficial properties and taste of food.
However, after cooking, traces of burnt fat remain on the baking sheet. Over time, the stains multiply and it becomes difficult to remove them.
In such cases, housewives can use both folk remedies and household chemicals to help them.
How to clean a baking sheet
1. The simplest, but at the same time effective option to clean a baking sheet from stagnant fat and carbon deposits is to use soda. And if you mix it with detergent or soap, the desired effect will appear faster.
It is enough to rub the surface with a cleaning compound and then leave it to soak for half an hour.
2. Another option is boiling. Pour 2 cups of water and a little liquid soap or dishwashing detergent onto the baking sheet. Then place the sheet in the oven and heat it up to 100 °C.
In just 20 minutes, all the fat will come off, and all that remains is to rinse the baking tray with water.
3. Ammonia will help get rid of carbon deposits. Wet a sponge with the product and apply generously to the contaminated surface. Then put the baking tray in the oven overnight, and rinse the product with running water in the morning.
