Black mold colonies often settle in rooms where there is an excess of humidity.
What should you do if the fungus has migrated to the wallpaper?
If you notice dark spots on the paper panels, the wallpaper, unfortunately, cannot be saved.
You will have to get rid of the entire strip, or at least the part of it where the mold is found.
After this, you should work on the wall itself. Its surface should be treated with an antiseptic. Alternatively, use an antifungal agent.
Also suitable are such readily available preparations as the most common alcohol, bleach containing chlorine or ammonia.
Important: it will not be possible to get rid of the fungus after one treatment, so the treatment should be carried out twice.
The next step is to apply antibacterial glue or primer to the wall. Now you can start disinfecting the wallpaper and only then can you stick it on the wall.
