The tray of the washing machine, intended for loading detergents and conditioner, must be washed, otherwise it will become overgrown with mold and limestone.
It happens that housewives do not pay attention to this detail for a long time, and when they come to their senses, they have to remove the ingrained dirt almost with sandpaper.
In this case, when nothing can remove the limescale, there is one way.
To clean the tank you will need:
- baking soda or washing soda;
- citric acid;
- limescale remover.

Prepare a suitable deep and wide container, place the tray in it and, having poured a handful of citric acid, pour boiling water over everything. This is one of the stages.
After the citric acid reaction is complete, drain the water.
Next, add calcined soda to the tray and pour boiling water over it, leaving it for 2 hours (to remove mold).
After this, fill the tray with a limescale remover (or prepare a solution from dry powder). Follow the instructions.
In the end, all that remains is to rinse the container and prevent the formation of such complex contaminants in the future.
