Crows cause a lot of trouble for summer residents: they spoil crops, tear up garbage heaps, and sometimes show aggression.
A scarecrow placed in a garden or vegetable patch does not always help to scare away impudent birds. After a few days, they will understand that the figure does not pose a threat.
There are more reliable methods of fighting birds. They can be used both separately and together. Together they give a high probability that the area will lose its attractiveness to crows.
How to scare away crows
1. Birds are attracted to food sources: garbage, compost, pet food, etc. Garbage should be placed in a container with a lid. Other sources will also have to be made inaccessible to crows. After this, they may stop visiting the site.
2. If birds are attracted to trees, you will need a transparent gel, which is sold in garden stores. It is applied to tree branches. When birds come to the site, the gel will be reflected in their eyes as a source of flame.
3. Crows are irritated by noise and shiny objects. Therefore, you can hang New Year's tinsel on the bushes and trees. Place the tin cans so that when the wind blows, they knock against each other.
