To remove carbon deposits from glassware, experienced housewives use gentle products.

They will not leave scratches and will remove dirt. Therefore, you can put the hard sponge aside.

Mustard

However, in this case you can't do without soaking. The carbon deposits require a special approach, so first you should leave the dishes in boiling water.

Pour a handful of dry mustard into the container so that it falls directly on the stain. Then add a couple of drops of dishwashing detergent.

Leave it like this for 10-15 minutes, and then you can take a rag or soft sponge and easily wash off the layer of dirt.

Potato

If you don't have dry mustard on hand, fresh potatoes will help. First, soak the dishes, then cut the tuber in half and rub the dirty surface.

Once the piece is clean, you can rub it with a raw potato and then polish it with a paper towel. The glass will shine with cleanliness.
