The smell from the vacuum cleaner appears as the equipment is used, and the reason is not even that the owner rarely cleans the dust collector.
There are places that an ordinary user cannot reach, and in the meantime dust continues to accumulate there. But the main reason is the dust collector.
The more often you throw out a container filled with garbage, the later this problem will make itself known.
What to do with the smell
If replacing the bag does not help, you need to wash the dust collector chamber as much as possible, wash the hoses and tubes, brushes and nozzles.
Then you need to replace the removable filters, if this is provided for by the technical features of the vacuum cleaner model.
After this, you can consider folk tricks.
Folk tricks
You can buy special aromatic cartridges or capsules for your vacuum cleaner. But there are simpler options.
1. Simply add baking soda to your new vacuum cleaner or vacuum up any spilled baking soda. Baking soda neutralizes odors, disinfects surfaces, and absorbs moisture.
2. Use aromatic oils that can be applied to a removable filter, on cotton wool, which then needs to be sent in a known way to the dust collector.
3. Silica gel can also come to the rescue. This is the same substance that shoe manufacturers put in boxes. Silica gel is designed to combat excess moisture, prevents the formation of mold and odors.
It is enough to put a bag of balls into the dust collector chamber, and then the vacuum cleaner will not spread unpleasant odors during operation.
