Limescale clogs the mesh that is screwed onto the spout. All the water passes through the aerator, so over time the mesh becomes clogged with a thick layer of stone.

Water stone is a deposit of solid minerals dissolved in water. The basis is calcium and magnesium salts.
Over time, these components form a real "wall" through which water cannot penetrate. It is impossible to remove limescale with a regular product.
To destroy scale, you need to use an acid-containing agent. Thanks to it, the plaque will fall off in flakes. What cannot be removed on your own can be easily cleaned with a needle or knife.
Household chemicals containing hydrochloric acid are excellent at combating deposits. Vinegar and a solution based on citric acid are also suitable.
