The frying pan becomes covered with a thick layer of carbon from frequent use.
There are many ways to solve this problem. Here is one method that will help you clean your frying pan to a shine without much effort.
Ingredients:
- Drinking water 5 l;
- Soda ash 100 g;
- Silicate glue or liquid glass 100 g;
- Mustard powder 100 grams.
Method of preparation and use:
Put on protective gloves and open the windows.
Boil water and dissolve the ingredients of the recipe one by one and mix the mixture well.
First add baking soda, then glue, and finally mustard powder.
Next, lower the frying pan completely into this hot mixture, removing the wooden or plastic handle first.
Cook it for 15-20 minutes, covering it with a lid, if the pan is not very dirty.
If the frying pan has a thick layer of carbon deposits, you need to wait a whole hour.
After cooling, remove the pan from the mixture and clean off the carbon deposits using a knife, a metal sponge and detergent.
The carbon deposits will be removed in large patches.
This method is suitable for cast iron, aluminum and duralumin pans.
