Before you pour household chemicals on your burners, it's worth looking for one ingredient in the kitchen. We're talking about citric acid.
This component is the basis for a cleaning solution that will deal with grease and rust on the burners.
Citric acid
It is also better to put the metal sponge aside. This solution is more gentle and does not leave scratches.
Place the burners in a large bowl and then pour boiling water over them. Add 2 tbsp. citric acid.
Leave for 2 hours, then rinse the burners under running water and wipe dry. Grease, carbon and rust will remain in the water.
Ammonia
If citric acid does not help, you can use ammonia. Place the burners in a plastic bag, pour a little of the product in, tie it up and leave it overnight. In the morning, all that remains is to wash the burners and put them back in place.
