There are only a few days left until spring, and it will begin with the traditional window cleaning. Until then, you can tidy up your plastic window sills that have yellowed from the sun and time.
Window sills turn yellow, fading under the sun's rays, or become covered with yellow round spots if there are flowerpots on them.
Here is the easiest and most reliable way to bring yellowed plastic back into order.
No harsh chemicals
1. Oxygen bleach can be found in every home. You can use both gel and dry composition.
It is applied to a clean, thick cloth or sponge and the plastic is wiped. If the plastic has not been cleaned for several years, then you will have to apply the cleaning agent and leave it for at least half an hour. Then the dirt is washed off with warm water.
2. Take hydrogen peroxide and apply it to a sponge, then wipe the window sill and rinse with water. This option will also help to deal with greasy stains.
3. Take baking soda and rub it into the plastic with a damp cloth. Then apply vinegar to a clean, thick cloth and wipe the surface treated with baking soda. You can also use liquid soap along with vinegar.
After foam appears on the windowsill, leave the mixture for twenty minutes, and then wash off the dirt with clean water.
