Not all cleaning inventions actually make housewives' work easier. Often, what works in commercials turns out to be useless, if not harmful, in practice.
Here are some clever tools that will never replace the most ordinary damp cloth.
Mop with spray
At first glance, this is very convenient, although it does not solve the problem. Firstly, the water that can be poured into the tank is still not enough to properly clean the entire apartment. The maximum the mop can handle is local pollution. Secondly, as a garbage collector, the tool works only in one direction - away from itself. In the opposite direction, all the dirt will remain on the surface. Thirdly, the rag on the mop still needs to be changed and rinsed, regardless of how much water is left in the mop container.
Rope mop
It is not so easy to wring it out, and the fibers of this mop do not hold water well. Therefore, it can only be used in open spaces, for example, for cleaning an open veranda or other area, but not for washing the floor in an apartment.
Pipidastre
Surely, every housewife has one somewhere in the pantry or toilet, if they haven't taken it to the dacha at all. In fact, this fluffy broom, which burst into the minds of housewives from the screens of Brazilian soap operas, only raises dust into the air, but does not collect it. After such cleaning, all the dust will settle safely, but just in a different place.
In each of these cases, you won’t be able to deal with the dirt any faster or more reliably than with the most ordinary wet cloth.
