In any house you can find a place that has not been cleaned for years. Even ideal housewives can ignore them or simply not notice them for a long time.

Therefore, it is worth figuring out which places in the house many people forget to clean, although they are obvious.

Walls

It would seem, how can you clean the walls? Over time, dust and other dirt begins to accumulate on the wallpaper. Many may think that it is impossible to get rid of dust on the wallpaper, but has anyone tried?

Modern wallpapers are highly wear-resistant. They can be safely vacuumed or wiped with a damp microfiber cloth. And if the wallpaper is intended for washing, they are often pasted in the kitchen, then you can use a regular damp cloth.

Of course, when cleaning wallpaper, it is unacceptable to use various cleaning and washing agents, as they can leave corresponding marks on the surface.

The tops of many objects

Here are a few examples:

  1. Upper edge of the door.
  2. Mirror frame.
  3. Paintings.
  4. Photos.
  5. Top shelf of the cabinet.
  6. Cabinets in the kitchen.
  7. Refrigerator and much more.

The top of most items regularly accumulates dust. If you ignore cleaning, a serious layer of dust may form on the surface within a year. These areas should always be given special attention at least once a month.

Washing machine

Mold, traces of foam and fungus are common. Many housewives forget that the washing machine requires careful maintenance.

Therefore, it is worth following several recommendations:

  • the doors should always be open. In this case, the drum and sealing rubber will dry out. If the door is constantly closed, then the appearance of mold and an unpleasant odor is a matter of time;
  • occasionally, all seals should be cleaned from moisture and mold. This procedure should be repeated approximately once a month;
  • You shouldn't store dirty laundry in the machine. This habit can lead to a moldy smell inside the machine;
  • at least once a month, it is worth turning on the washing mode at the maximum temperature. This is a simple way that will help get rid of mold and unpleasant odor;
  • Once a month, you can add a little vinegar to the rinse compartment. This method will help get rid of all unpleasant odors.

In order for your washing machine to serve you for a long time and bring you fresh laundry, you should follow these recommendations; there is nothing complicated about them.

Switches and handles

Dust does not appear on switches and handles, but what about other contaminants? Microbes appear on the surfaces of these objects. A simple example: when coming from the street, a person immediately grabs the switch, which makes it dirty.

Externally, such contamination seems unnoticeable. But if you conduct an analysis, it will become clear that the number of dangerous microorganisms on the surface is significant. Disinfection of handles and switches should be done once a month. For these purposes, ordinary alcohol or similar products are suitable.

Closet

The closet often contains unnecessary things that collect dust. A simple example: shoe boxes that are not used at all can stand on the top shelves for years.

Occasionally, it is worth taking out all the contents of the closet and cleaning it out. Ideally, get rid of all old and unnecessary things.
