This product will remove rust stains as easily as an eraser removes pencil marks.

Many adults use knives every day. Kitchen knives, hunting knives, folding knives and other varieties have one problem in common – rust.

There are a number of reasons for this result. But don't rush to get rid of a rusty knife.

How to remove rust

Before throwing away the knife, you can try to clean it. To do this, you will need powdered chalk.

If you only have chalk in stick form, you can simply crush it in a plastic bag using a hammer or other convenient tool.

The resulting powder is then rubbed onto the problem areas. The rust will be removed right before your eyes. In addition, the blade will become shinier and smoother.

Vinegar

If chalk doesn't help, you can try the second method. Pour vinegar into a wide container and immerse only the blade or the entire knife in it.

Leave the blade in the liquid for 5 minutes. Do not keep it longer, as this may damage the knife. After soaking in vinegar, wipe the blade with a cloth, rinse and dry.
