In a bathroom with its constant high humidity and air temperature, the appearance of mold is expected rather than an unpredictable phenomenon.
Someone starts to wash towels, bathrobes or linens in a basket, but this is not the reason at all. The source of the stench should be looked for elsewhere.
The simplest and most correct thing to do in this case is to clean the siphon under the sink and bathtub using chemicals or folk remedies.
If the drain is not broken, then you need to proceed as follows.
1. Pour a few tablespoons of table salt into the drain or pour in a concentrated solution. After 1-1.5 hours and a half, you need to rinse the siphon. You can use soda, which is poured in dry form, and then vinegar is poured on top.
2. If the smell has just appeared, then it is easy to pour 2-3 liters of boiling water into the sink, but again, if the drain is not clogged and the water flows normally.
3. If the smell is pungent and does not go away after cleaning, you will have to disassemble the siphon, wash each of its parts with detergent or "Belina" to wash away the remaining fat and mold.
You should also look for the cause of the unpleasant smell in poor ventilation.
Sometimes it is enough to simply clean the ventilation grille that is covered with dust to normalize the situation.
You also need to keep an eye on the heated towel rail, which may have too much unnecessary stuff hanging on it, which will make it ineffective. Sometimes you even have to install an electric element to increase the temperature in the bathroom.
