Roses have been the most popular flower given for birthdays and any other occasion for decades.
But for some people the flowers last a very long time, while for others they barely last a week. For others, the roses start to wither the very next day.
Many tricks have been invented to make flowers last longer in a vase: sugar, mineral water, activated carbon and dozens of other tricks.
These techniques are effective to some extent. But the type of roses plays a much greater role. It is this nuance that determines how long the bouquet will last.
It turned out that roses from Ecuador are the most resilient. The climate of the South American country is ideal for growing these flowers. In addition, the daylight lasts 12 hours. Thus, the roses have time to get stronger, so they stand in a vase for as long as possible.
It is noteworthy that the least expensive roses are those grown in Belarus or Russia. Even those grown in a greenhouse are inferior to Ecuadorian flowers. But roses from South America have a minus - they have almost no scent.
