Silver items look cheaper when their surface is literally covered with dark spots.
This phenomenon is typical for any silver items. Not only chains or bracelets, but also cutlery.
Dark spots are not a sign of a bad product or improper wearing. This is a natural process, the consequences of which can be removed with a simple trick.
All you need to do is remove the oxide film that turns the silver item into cheap jewelry. But you can't do that with soap.
Pour 2 teaspoons of baking soda into a glass and throw in a few pieces of foil. Pour in boiling water. Stir to dissolve the soda faster. Then lower the silver item into it. Leave the item in the solution for 5 minutes.
Then all that remains is to remove the jewelry from the liquid and wipe it with a soft cloth. The valuables will shine like a diamond.
