Even a high-quality tablecloth loses its original whiteness over time, acquiring a grayish tint.
Experienced cleaners told how to fix the defect using a cheap product.
A quality tablecloth may not tear or wear out at the folds for years. It can last quite a long time, but the grayish tint spoils everything.
To return the product to its original whiteness, it is worth starting with dishwashing gel. Dissolve 3 tbsp. of the product in 500 ml of warm water.
Place the tablecloth in the resulting solution. If there are old stains, experts recommend rubbing them with a sponge after soaking in an alkaline liquid.
Experts do not recommend using aggressive means to restore the whiteness of the tablecloth right away. Alkali can handle this.
If the dishwashing detergent does not help, then you can move on to stronger compositions. To begin with, you can test the effect of the product on a small area to assess the result.
