Stains on the ceiling spoil the entire appearance of the room. However, water stains can be easily removed.
The first step is to prepare the work area.
Once the problem is found and fixed, it's time to begin treating the dirty area. Wash and sand it if necessary.
If there is mold, use a special product or bleach.
The second step is to assess the scale of the work.
Small stains can be removed with bleach. Mix it with water and apply it to the stains and wait until it disappears.
Then use shoe polish or white chalk to restore the color.
Stage three - large spots.
A special pigmented stain blocker will come to the rescue here. Then the stain will not be able to appear through the paint in the future.
Stage four - final painting.
Once the stain blocker has dried, paint the area with a special ceiling paint.
Wait for it to dry and apply another coat if necessary.
