What resourceful housewives have come up with to avoid dusting cabinets: an original solution

Kitchen cabinets are probably one of the dirtiest places in the apartment.

Now we are talking, of course, not about the internal shelves, but about the upper part of the kitchen unit, on which dust inevitably settles, as well as microparticles of fat that float in the air during cooking.

Getting rid of this kind of dirt requires a lot of effort.

Instead of climbing up a stepladder and wiping down cabinets with a wet rag every time, many housewives use our grandmothers' life hack by covering furniture with old newspapers.

There is, however, another option – to use stretch film to protect cabinets from dust and other debris.

However, all of these devices are disposable options that have to be disposed of during general cleaning.

You can use old sheets instead.

The fabric should be cut into pieces equal to the perimeter of the upper cabinets and moistened with water, then rubbed with laundry soap and covered with furniture, pressing tightly.

When the time comes, remove the scraps from the cabinets, wash them and reuse them for their intended purpose.
