There are dishes that are not recommended for washing in the dishwasher. These are porcelain with a pattern, glass goblets and wooden items.
While not every housewife can boast of wooden tableware, glassware can be found in any home. Here's how to tidy up your glasses after a party.
If you wash thin glass glasses in the dishwasher, they may soon develop a cloudy coating and the product will lose its shine.
It is believed that the reason is hot water and high temperature in the machine during drying of dishes. Therefore, it is customary to wash the products by hand.
We'll tell you how to remove lipstick and grease stains from thin glass and restore their radiant shine.
You won't need any industrial or chemical products to wash glassware.
You will need:
- deep bowl;
- water;
- vinegar.
Take a bowl of suitable volume, fill it with water and add vinegar.
The consumption is as follows: for each liter of water you need to add one tablespoon of 9% vinegar.
Important! The water temperature should not be higher than 60 degrees Celsius.
If the glasses are thoroughly dirty, they are placed in a vinegar solution for 1-2 hours.
After that, all that remains is to simply rinse them in running water with a clean sponge. Thanks to long soaking, even plaque that has formed in hard-to-reach places will be washed away.
But if there is a pattern or coating on the glasses, then this method is not suitable for washing.
