Did your mobile phone fall into water?
Don't panic! Remove the device from the water, turn off the gadget, disassemble it and leave it untouched for at least a day.
It is possible that after 24 hours of “drying out”, the smartphone will again be capable of full operation.
Most likely, the mobile phone will function smoothly. Perhaps, you won’t even need the help of a specialist.
The main thing is not to try to “reanimate” the phone in dangerous ways.
What not to do with a "drowned phone"
A mobile phone that has been in water should not be connected to a charger for some time.
The ban applies even if the smartphone was almost discharged before it fell into the liquid.
It is worth emphasizing that some users are even convinced of the need to connect a charger to a “drowned smartphone”: this approach supposedly allows you to quickly bring the device back to life.
Be aware: this is a flawed and very dangerous strategy.
The gadget taken out of the water cannot be charged for at least 24 hours. During this time, the device should not even be turned on.
What to do with a "drowned smartphone"
A phone that has fallen into water must be removed from the liquid immediately.
The next step is to turn off the device.
Then the mobile phone needs to be "disassembled". This includes actions such as removing the case and body, removing the battery, SIM card and SD card.
The gadget itself and all removed components should be wiped with a dry cloth.
All wiped items should lie for at least a day (or better yet, two days). Only after that can the smartphone be turned on and sent to charge.
