It recently became known that on September 10, the American company Google restored the ability to register new accounts with Russian numbers.
The day before, Russian citizens complained about problems with this option – they reported a pop-up error when confirming the number.
Experts suggested that the difficulties could have been caused by a technical glitch.
As reported by the TASS agency, on September 9 the system allowed one to go through all the steps to create a new account.
That is, you could choose a name, gender, date of birth, come up with an email name and enter a password for it.
However, it was not possible to confirm the Russian mobile number - the following message appeared: “this number cannot be used for confirmation.”
People tried to use some specialized services to get around this kind of difficulty – without success.
And today, September 10, judging by the reports of Russian media citing users, the problem has been fixed, and it is once again possible to register accounts with Russian numbers.
