Omsk's Avangard suffered its first defeat in the current season of the Continental Hockey League.

This happened in front of their fans. The offender was the visiting Khabarovsk "Amur".

True, the teams did not reveal the strongest in regular time, nor did they reveal one in the extra period.

Only after a series of post-match shootouts did the visiting hockey players achieve victory. The final score of the game was 3:2 in favor of Khabarovsk.

Before this, the "hawks" had won three games in a row. And now it has come, the first defeat of the season.

And in the shootout, luck smiled on the opponent. By the way, in regular time, only one person scored for Amur – Devin Brosseau (53rd and 60th minutes).

Avangard's Ilya Reinhardt (2nd minute) and Darren Dietz (13th) scored accurate shots.

As for the shootouts, they were implemented by Alex Broadhurst, Jan Drozg (Cupid) and Stanislav Galiev (Avangard).

Let us add that on the same day, Minsk Dynamo defeated Moscow Region Vityaz (5:1) on the road.

In another match of the day, Salavat Yulaev from Ufa won at home against Avtomobilist from Yekaterinburg (5:3).
