The head of state made this statement at a ceremony honoring farmers during the regional festival-fair "Dazhynki-2024" in the city of Klimovichi, Mogilev region.
He noted that nowadays more and more people prefer natural fabrics.
And only Belarusians are an exception. They, as the President said, do not understand.
Belarusians are rushing for Gucci, Versace and other junk. You have to wear your own. Your own fabrics. We have everything. Wear your own and teach your children to do the same, the head of state's press service quotes him as saying.
In this way, he emphasized the high quality of natural Belarusian knitwear (and not only) products.
