On Friday, November 22, almost fifty residents of Kursk region returned to the Russian Federation.
Assistance was provided by the Republic of Belarus.
BELTA reports this with reference to information published on the Telegram channel of Tatyana Moskalkova, who is the Human Rights Commissioner in the Russian Federation.
Details of the return of 46 residents of Kursk region to Russia
Moskalkova emphasized that the humanitarian action was possible thanks to cooperation with the Administration of the head of the Russian state and the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The Russian Human Rights Commissioner added that Belarusian government agencies also provided assistance.
As the Russian stateswoman noted, there was also interaction with Alexei Smirnov, the highest official of the Kursk region.
Moskalkova also drew attention to the important contribution of the International Committee of the Red Cross. According to the activist from the Russian Federation, the humanitarian organization did not refuse to provide food, things and transport.
The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation also drew attention to the fact that a dialogue was conducted with the Ukrainian side.
Moskalkova noted: those 46 Russians who recently returned to their homeland were previously withdrawn from the territory of Kursk region by representatives of the armed formations of Ukraine.
Those returned to the Russian Federation include 12 minors.
