Here comes winter. Calendar winter. Does that mean frosts will hit soon? Not exactly: minus temperatures are expected, of course, but not such that we can talk about “strikes”.

Next week, from December 2 to 8, Belarusian weather will be mostly unstable.

Well-known weather forecaster Dmitry Ryabov reported on the ONT TV channel that most days during the specified period will be damp and cloudy.

He expects a “positive temperature anomaly” – on average from +2 to +3 degrees, which is not typical for a real winter.

Beginning of the week

According to the meteorologist, there will be no significant precipitation at the beginning of the coming week.

However, at night and in the morning hours there is fog, ice, and on some sections of the roads there is black ice.

The wind will be moderate, southern quarter. At night, thermometers will show from -2 to +3 degrees across the country, during the day on Monday - from +2 to +5 degrees.

Middle

The middle of the week will be cloudy with precipitation and gusty south-westerly winds.

The air temperature on Tuesday and Wednesday during the day will be from +1 to +4 degrees.

Second half

The beginning of the second half of the week will be marked by cloudy weather with clear spells and no precipitation.

The wind, as forecasted, will blow from the southeast. It is expected to be moderate.

At night, the air temperature will be from -3 to +2 degrees, on Thursday during the day – up to +3 degrees, on Friday – around zero.

Weekend

But next weekend in Belarus will likely disappoint many. Bad weather is coming.

In particular, according to Ryabov, precipitation, gusty northwest winds, and night and morning fogs are possible.

Thermometers in Belarus will record temperatures from 0 to -6 degrees at night, and around zero on Saturday and Sunday.
