The merged company Wildberries and Russ decided to adjust the conditions for the return of goods.
The main innovation is the introduction of the ability to return purchases using QR codes.
Thanks to this approach, the company hopes, users will be able to return goods at any pick-up point (PP).
Now customers will be able to return goods using QR codes, which allows returns to be processed at any order pick-up point, the TASS agency quotes the organization’s press service as saying.
They explained that previously people could only return a purchase to the pick-up point where they received the order.
Among other things, the innovation will simplify the return procedure for employees – the time for processing requests will be reduced and complex operations will be minimized.
Wildberries promised that the tool for generating QR codes will be available to all users of the platform.
QR codes for product returns are a step forward in the development of our service. They allow customers not to worry about the presence of barcodes on the packaging, and allow pick-up point employees to significantly simplify the process of processing returns, said Maxim Kim, head of the pick-up point department of the combined Wildberries and Russ.
