What Putin said about the abolition of roaming
Speaking about bilateral cooperation in knowledge-intensive industries, digitalization, microelectronics and informatization, the Russian President announced that comfortable tariffs for communications in the North Caucasus will come into effect on March 1 next year.
The new rules will come into force on March 1, 2025, said the head of the Russian state.
In June, the presidents of Russia and Belarus ordered that the roaming issue be resolved by December.
The parties agreed that the tariffs would be unlimited, otherwise this would entail a high load on mobile operators. The agreement was based on average data from the International Telecommunication Union.
